A few weeks ago, I found myself in the Northeast, an area I have explored very little. This region never really appealed to me as much as other places like the Southwest or Pacific Northwest. Fortunately, a recent opportunity to document Chef Rasheed Philips’ journey to Stonington, Connecticut, for The Roost Festival allowed me to explore more of the region. Our first stop — harvesting oysters with BonApetite’s very own Brad Leone and Newfoundland’s Jeremy Charles.

Over the last few years, I have visited more than twenty national parks within the United States. I have narrowed these national parks down to five of my favorite.

A work trip to the Nation’s Capitol, Washington DC, was a perfect opportunity to explore The District. Washington DC offered plenty of sites and opportunities for photographs.

My journey through Colorado led me to one of the most interesting locations I have ever been — Silver Jack Reservoir. Although this beauty was a highlight on my journey, I was also able to take in some others including Telluride, Alta Lakes Campground and Lizard Head Pass Campground.
